Natwest Complaints

To make a complaint to Natwest simply call 0844 453 0259 and explain directly to a member of the Natwest team the issue and details of your complaint so that it can be resolved quickly. If your complaint needs to be escalated to a different department then the call handler will explain the process of taking a complaint further.

Natwest complaints compensation

In some circumstances of your complaint, Natwest might offer you compensation for your troubles, and in some cases, they’ll ask you for a figure you think you deserve. It’s, of course, important to consider all of the factors of your complaint, how much you were put out and how much it has affected your life, then come up with a reasonable figure that you think Natwest should compensate you. You don’t want to over exaggerate a figure, because they won’t accept that, and you might end up with less than you really deserve.

Natwest PPI Complaints

You have until August 29 2019 to make your complaint for Natwest PPI and you can do this by calling the number 0844 826 0447. When you phone this number you can check whether or not you’ve had a sale of Payment Protection Insurance took out for you without your knowledge, and if you have you can escalate this to a complaint. You must allow 15 working days for your PPI check to be made, so make sure that you do this in plenty of time ahead of the deadline.

There isn’t an email address for you to send your Natwest complaint to, instead you have to fill out their online contact form. This can be done via their website and takes a few minutes to complete, and the form prompts you with all of the information that they’ll need.

To make a complaint about Natwest mortgages you can phone the number 0843 290 7185. When you call this number you can complain about mortgage applications, unexpected fees and charges, the funds release, a change to your interest rate, issues with your direct debit and more.

Natwest Business Complaints

If you have a business account with Natwest you can use the number 0843 178 3550 to make your complaint. You can phone this number to complain about issues relating to cards associated with the account, problems with online banking, or standing orders that you’ve set up with the account. You can also phone this number to complain about a change of loan terms that you weren’t made aware of.

Natwest Complaints Procedure

When you make a complaint to Natwest, if they can’t answer it straight away they will give you a reference number to keep hold of that you can use for your correspondence with them. They are allowed to take up to 56 days to resolve customer complaints, but they do aim to get through them much quicker than that.

Natwest will give you an update on your case after 10 working days if they’re still looking into it.

If you aren’t happy with the resolution given, or it takes them longer than eight weeks to sort it, you can then refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service who will look at your complaint independently.
